Graduating!!!

My pieces got accepted into the 2011 BFA show at Pacific Lutheran University, meaning that I get to graduate! Woot!

Anyone in the area that can make the opening reception next Wednesday at 5pm can come! It's in Ingram hall in the main gallery. All BFA graduating seniors will have their work displayed, and a lot of it is incredibly awesome, so you should come!

Anyway, time to think about careers or other schools to attend. Vancouver film school would be a good option to get into the video game creation industry. Gage Academy as an atelier program that is for advanced painters. Other graduate schools are an option as well.

I'm also applying to concept artist internships and jobs with Disney, Bungie, Microsoft, etc. We'll see!

Now that all of the Capstone rush is over, I can continue working on commissions. Right now I am CLOSED for painting commissions, as I have had too many responses from all of you lovely folk and need to complete many requests before I accept more. HOWEVER, if you want a drawing, sketch, etching, or woodcut, I am open to your ideas, and you won't be charged a thing unless you want the original mailed to you. Illustrations and characters are encouraged! (They will be drawn traditionally though until I get a new tablet DX)

This weekend is the Sakura-con. If anyone wants to meet up, note me! I'll be frolicking around with my best friend all weekend, so let me know! 8D

Today I will FINALLY photograph my new paintings. I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL. *SIGH* I'm such a lazy artist. DX
